Services

Consultative services  may be provided on a biweekly or monthly basis depending the needs of the child and family. Consultative services typically include an initial appointment where a brief assessment of the children is performed and the concerns of his/her parents are discussed. A plan of action is then formulated.

An evaluation includes a more in-depth assessment of the child and his/her current level of functioning. Information regarding the child's developmental background is obtained and a written report is generated.

Direct therapeutic interaction with the child and are typically delivered on a weekly basis. Prior of the start of on-going services, specific goals an areas to be developed are delineated with the family to ensure unique and targeted occupational therapy intervention.

Setup, Troubleshooting, and Training for a variety of assistive technology products (e.g. word prediction and text-to-speech supports). Ongoing support for students who use assistive technology to complete academic tasks.
